Kibbutz Gvulot (Gevulot), situated in the Habsor region, was established on May 12th, 1943 as an agricultural outpost (the first of three lookouts in the Negev). After the War of Independence, the settlement moved to its present location, about one and a half kilometers north-east of the outpost.
Presently, the population includes about 300 people.
Gvulot thrives mainly upon agricultural branches: field crops (potato, peanut, carrot, wheat), dairy, chicken runs, and amaryllis flower bulbs.
The kibbutz runs a factory, "Polymer" that mixes compounds on epoxy, polyurethane, and RTV silicon bases.
Another branch is the tourism, which includes the "Mitzpe Guest Rooms" for B&B accommodation and the historical site "Mitzpe Gvulot".
